Today, I wanted to talk a little bit about the city of Cambria. I have a special connection with this town, not only is it beautifully painted on me but it’s also just a 40 minute drive from Cal Poly!

This time of year, Cambria has a special event called the Cambria Christmas Market. If you are still in SLO, I highly recommend going. This German and Austrian inspired event has several breath-taking light displays, music, and delicious food! Moooo much fun!

Opportunity for a Learn by Mooing Experience

Calling all EIM students!! Are you interested in getting involved with the department next quarter? Are you in need of 1 unit? Would you like to give back to the EIM community and raise money for our major?

If so...then become a part of the See Cow Do Marketing Ambassador Team! We are looking for 5 students to assist in the marketing of See Cow Do. This includes mini-events at the cow, weekly blog and social media posts, and open house events with the cow.

The 1 unit course, RPTA 400, would require about 2 hours a week of your own time to learn more about marketing towards not only our major, but the Cal Poly community as a whole! Email SeeCowDo@gmail.com for more information or if you are interested in getting involved!

DEAD WEEK

As we approach the end of the quarter, I’ve noticed all of the my friends looking a bit more tired and stressed this week. The name DEAD WEEK, really seems fitting! As students walk zombie-like pass me, I’ve tried really hard to think of a few ways to help you all out. So here’s some advice on how to conquer your dead week and relieve some stress in the meantime:

VOTE for me by clicking HERE. This will help cross one thing off your to-do list!

SLEEP. While cows like myself only need 4 hours of sleep per day, you need at least 8 hours. Try not to stay up pasture bedtime!

EAT healthy! This includes 3 cups of dairy per day.

CUT back on social media. Its utterly distracting and will decrease your productivity!

EXERCISE. Need a break? Take a walk from the library to building 11 and visit me! There also a Starbucks right next door!

Finally, remember to be confident! As a student at Cal Poly, you are more than capable of surviving and thriving during dead week and finals week. Good luck and study hard mustangs!

Just in case you need a little pick-me-up during finals week, I will be passing out smarties to all my friends that stop by to say hi on MONDAY, DECEMBER 11th from 12pm to 1pm right next to building 11!
